Your notes, knowledge graph, and reading profile — available inside every agent you use. One MCP server, read-only tools to explore your memory bank, plus create_note to push insights from any agent back into your knowledge graph. Sign in with your tryhighlight account via OAuth.

You can browse the supported surfaces below, but server URLs, commands, and one-click installs stay hidden until you sign in.

On your phone

Claude iOS/Android: add once on the web (button below) — it syncs to your phone at next login, OAuth included. In a chat: + → Connectors. ChatGPT mobile: officially web-only today; tools often work in the iOS app once linked on web — chatgpt.com in your phone's browser is the reliable fallback. Push from any agent: use the create_note tool to save insights from a chat directly into your memory bank — they distill and join your knowledge graph automatically.

Claude — web, desktop & mobile

OAuth

  1. The button opens claude.ai with the connector prefilled — click Add
  2. Click Connect and approve the OAuth sign-in
  3. Done everywhere: the connection is brokered by your Claude account — Desktop and iOS/Android pick it up at next login, no re-auth

All plans (Free = 1 custom connector). Team/Enterprise: an Owner adds it under Organization settings → Connectors.

ChatGPT — web

  1. On chatgpt.com: Settings → Security and login → turn on Dev mode (Plus/Pro/Business/Enterprise)
  2. Open Plugins → click the + (Add plugin) → New Plugin
  3. Name it Highlight App, paste the server URL as the Connection, leave Authentication on OAuth
  4. Check I understand and want to continue → Create, then approve the sign-in
  5. In a chat: + → More → select Highlight App (or @-mention it)

One-click install from the ChatGPT plugin store is coming soon — until then, the manual steps above take under a minute. Mobile: not officially supported yet; read-only tools often work in the iOS app once linked on web. Setup and re-auth always happen on web.
